Our Programmes

1. Natural Resources Management Programme (N.R.M.)
• Drought mitigation project-
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented Drought mitigation project supported by CAPART, Jaipur in 3 Villages of Chaksu block with Village level organization.
1.Kankriya 2.Prthavipura 3. Bisanpura
• Plantation project
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented plantation project supported by ministry of environment & forest in 2Villages of lalsot block with Village level organization.
Nursery raising, advance work, soil and moisture conservation, protection activities.

• Community pond construction
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented community pond construction project supported by TBS and CECOEDECON, Jaipur in 3 Villages of Chaksu block with Village level organization.

• Water management project-
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented water management project supported by Rotary international in 3 Villages of Chaksu block with Village level organization.
• National Environment Awareness camp
• Renovation of Community pond:
SAVS are implemented renovation of 6-community pond project supported by CAPART. SAVS are digging 6 ponds, plantation in 6 ha. Land and Anicut construction.

2. Women’s and child development programme (WCD)
• Creach Center –
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented 2 creach centers in ladpura and Badripura villages of Chaksu Block with 0-5 years 50 Childs are benefited.
• Women’s awareness camps-
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented 4AGP Camps of 8 days in Chaksu Block supported by Raj Social welfare Board.
• Etc.- SHGs, Mahila Mandals any others.
3. Agriculture & animal husbandry-
• Demonstration of economic water use and vermin compost-
Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented Demonstration of economic water use and vermin compost project with 7 farmers of Lalsot Block supported by SPWD.
• Health check up camps-
Health check up camps is organized with Govt.vetnory doctors in rural areas.
4. Education and health programme-
• Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented Ratri Shiksa Kender with Community in lalsot Block.
• National Child labor project:
SAVS are implemented 3 special schools for 150 child labors in chaksu block. SAVS provided stifund, nutrition, Education, Vocational training and health facilities to the 150 child labors less than 9 to 14 years.

Others-
• Samajik arthik vikas samiti are implemented social development, youth groups, Nasa Mukti, Samajik Burai Unmulan activities.

Focus of Work:
Samajik Arthik Vikas Samiti (SAVS), New Ralawata was initiated in 1981 at the time of devastating floods errupted Chaksu Block. Initially started working as a Village Development Committee (VDC) in village New Ralawata and adjoining villages as a relief and rehabilitation village level institution. Over the years, working as a drought relief and mitigation interventions, registered as a society in 1993. Presently organization’s focus of work is in the following sectors.

Geographical Coverage:
Organization is working in Chaksu Block of Jaipur District, Nandoti Block of Karoli District and Lalsot Block of Dausa District of Rajasthan.
Describes our Organization:
In 1981 Jaipur District was subjected to severe floods that caused heavy losses to both life and wealth. Keeping the situation in mind some people established VDC to provide immediate assistance to the flood affected people. In due course of time, in the year 1991 VDC got transformed into SAVS and on 13th august 1993 society registration was done. After that, SAVS started working in the present structure.
Vision of the organization:
The vision of organization is to develop the economically and socially backward villages of eastern Rajasthan so that they become independent, self-dependent and ideal.
Mission of the organization:
Organization’s mission is to provide small industry and cattle industry, dairy, cattle farming, good health, good mutual relation among the poor, weak and unemployed people of eastern Rajasthan, so that in future they develop and keep on developing process and do not seek help of Govt. non - Govt. etc.

SAVS have 10 professional and technical staff members for planning and implementation.

SAVS proposed the 20% to 80 % Local Contribution in all programmes from Community resources and Contribution.

F. Local Community involved in the organizations member:
All the members of General Board and Executive Board are Local community leaders. Samajik Arthik Vikas Samiti is a Community Based Grass-Root organization.

H. Collaboration and coordination:
As a policy matter, collaboration and coordination with other agencies and Government, the organization in general and project staff in particular made all efforts to involve government machinery in their venture.
I. Community Organization and Gender Equlity:
Organisation believes in Gender Equity and has policy to provide equal opportunities to both the sex and at all the levels. Organisation has policy of minimum 33% women participation. In the Executive Board 33% are female, at the staff level 50% are female. In our community organization process we encourage and facilitate women to form Mahila Mandals in our all the villages that we are working. Apart from it we encourage and facilitate people to form Village Development Committee (VDC) in which 50 percent women participation is essential. Mahila Mandals and VDCs have representation of all the caste groups and age groups of the village and play the pivotal role in planning, implementation and monitoring of the projects.
